Short Biography


Jamaala Fagon is an entrepreneur with her new JCFAGON clothing line when she is not fulfilling her role as Marketing, business development and security consultant to business niches in Barbados and the Caribbean.


Recently, Jamaala worked assiduously with Mobile Media Marketing & Elite Academic Support Services to successfully advertise and promote The Barbados Book of Poems and Puzzles 2022 publication and competition. Jamaala has been retained to promote the 2023 publication & competition


As the founder of Fagon Arts & Creative Expressions, Jamaala provides consultancy and creative workshops to the performing arts industry. In 2020, she created history when 29 of her 30 contestants from Barbados, Guyana, Cuba, and Hungary competed in the World Championships of Performing Arts, becoming successful recipients of gold, silver, and bronze awards. 


Her love for performing arts as an accomplished actress, dancer, and model exposed her to stages with popularly known Jamaican performers Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, to participation in annual Carnival band and road-march celebrations, to advertising with managing director Brian St. Juste of Timecode Productions, and to freelance in gigs with PULSE Model Agency guru Kingsley Cooper and artistic director Marcia Weekes of Praise Academy of Dance Barbados. No stranger to film, she pursued acting with film producer Tolga Akcayli in Barbados.
